The Dynasty Watercolour Association (DWA) is a visual arts organization. Its mandate is to provide an opportunity and supportive environment for other artists who work with a variety of styles in the watercolour and acrylic medium by
- creating a network for fellow arts to flourish
- making a group of artists that will integrate with the society at large; and
- creating incentives for enhancing access to our events and cultural programs through exhibitions and arts advocacy.
Membership is open to all art lovers at all levels in the watercolour and acrylic medium. It serves as a platform for the artists to meet in fellowship and support, to share knowledge and exchange experiences. Together members will work toward the creation, understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of arts through a range of activities so that individually the member may enrich his artistic expression and skill development and collectively the members through inter-inspiring can explore and experience all that art and art culture has to offer. DWA attaches great importance o collaborate with other art groups and government bodies to integrate art into community life.
Monthly meetings: the third Tuesday of each month 7.30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Langstaff Community Centre, Richmond Hill (northwast of Highway 7 and Bayview Avenue)
Meetings include theme-oriented workshops, with educational and inspirational value well designed to benefit members.
